We are constantly bombarded with signs, messages, and commands; we are told not to cross the yellow line when a train is approaching, not to step on the grass, or touch artwork. We are taught to follow the rules. We adhere to social values, create social norms, and use shame and punishment as tools to discipline those who cross the line. We are always programmed to conform. Everything around us and within us exists in a predetermined order. Nothing is new.
The exhibition consists of embedded installations, interactive design works, and performances by eight artists and designers. Set in Walmer Yard, an experimental space designed by renowned architects Peter Salter and Fenella Collingridge, their goal is to highlight and disrupt subconscious behavioral cycles through subversive and controlled simulated journeys.

Each visitor has 10 minutes to explore the four-story space created by the artists and designers. Unidentified individuals will occasionally follow and film the entire process. Participants are free to explore within the allotted time, and every corner may be filled with something happening. When participants finally reach the top floor, they discover that all their actions and reactions are being recorded on a large surveillance screen. All authentic reactions, all controlled and unknown perceptions, unfold one by one during the exploration.
